El profesor Felten es coautor de seis libros sobre educación universitaria incluyendo Relationship-Rich Education: How Human Connections Drive Success in College (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2020). Además, ha fungido como presidente de la International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL) y de la Red POD, la sociedad profesional para desarrolladores educativos en Estados Unidos. Es miembro del consejo asesor de la encuesta estadounidense de medición de involucramiento de estudiantes (National Survey of Student Engagement [NSSE]) y es fellow del Gardner Institute, una fundación que trabaja en promover la equidad, la justicia y la movilidad social a través de la educación superior.

Zaida Muxí

Arquitecta e investigadora con más de 30 años de experiencia, la Dra. Muxí cuenta con un profundo conocimiento de los principios de igualdad de género y su aplicación en un contexto urbano (por ejemplo, indicadores de calidad de género).
De 2015 a 2019, Zaida Muxi fue Directora de Urbanismo en el Municipio de Santa Coloma de Gramenet, en España, donde fue responsable de urbanismo, vivienda, medio ambiente, ecología urbana, espacio público, vía pública y otros temas relacionados con la ciudadanía. También fue responsable de la gestión y ejecución de la Estrategia de Desarrollo Urbano Sostenible e Integrado (EDUSI) financiada por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER). Fue miembro de la junta directiva de la fundación bit-habitat en Barcelona en 2020, un espacio donde se desarrollan programas y servicios para promover y facilitar la innovación urbana. Desde 2022, la Dra. Muxí forma parte del grupo dedicado a la misión de cohesión territorial para la redacción del Plan Estratégico Metropolitano de Barcelona.
La Dra. Muxí actualmente imparte clases de urbanismo y género en la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), donde forma parte del grupo de investigación llamado QURBIS - Calidad de Vida Urbana: Innovación, Sostenibilidad y Compromiso Social. Su investigación en la UPC se ha centrado en tres áreas principales: Estudios de género en urbanismo y arquitectura; viviendas y barrios; y el impacto de la globalización en el tejido urbano (sociedad y edificios).

Professor Felten has published and co-authored six books about undergraduate education including Relationship-Rich Education: How Human Connections Drive Success in College (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2020). Professor Felten served as president of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL) and also of the POD Network, the U.S. professional society for educational developers. He is on the advisory board of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and is a fellow of the Gardner Institute, a foundation that works to advance equity, justice, and upward social mobility through higher education.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, Professor Felten was named Fulbright Canada Distinguished Chair in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, at Carleton University in Ottawa.

Dr. Muxí is an architect and researcher with over 30 years of experience with a profound knowledge of gender equality principles and their application in an urban context (for example, gender quality indicators).
From 2015 to 2019, Zaida Muxi was Director of Urban Planning in the Municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in Spain, where she was responsible for urban planning, housing, environment, urban ecology, public space public roads, and civic-related subjects. She was also responsible for the management and execution of the Strategy for Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development (EDUSI) funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). She was a board member of the bit-habitat foundation in Barcelona in 2020, a space where programs and services are developed to promote and facilitate urban innovation. Since 2022, she's been a member of the group involved in the territorial cohesion mission to draft the Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan.
Dr. Muxí currently teaches urbanism and gender at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where she is part of the research group called QURBIS - Quality of Urban Life: Innovation, Sustainability and Social Engagement. Her research at UPC has focused on three main areas: Gender studies in planning and architecture; dwellings and neighborhoods; and the impact of globalization on the urban fabric (society and buildings).
